duplex ultrasound pain factor?

My Dr. recommended a duplex ultrasound which involves a penile injection. Maybe I'm being a baby about this, but I'm not looking forward to a penile injection. This is coming from a guy who still gets nitrous at the dentist. I was wondering if anyone knew if something like nitrous was available during a test like this, or anyone else's experience with this test...
