Hematuria

Hi-

I recently tested my urine, which showed microscopic hematuria My doctor looked at the results and asked that I retest (which I'm doing tonight).

Unfortunately, as I've researched this, I'm freaking out a bit. I feel fine with no real pain (every now and again, I'd have a very slight burning sensation). And from what I've read UTIs, which are the less serious cause of this, are more often accompanied with some sort of pain. Of course, now I'm worrying that what's causing is something more serious.

I know worrying isn't going to help this much, but I guess I'm looking to read/hear stories of similar experiences that resulted in less serious outcomes, for some reassurance.

Good morning, I read your post from 7/28, how are you doing now, what have you found out? I have a similar issue w/o the burning, but my hematuria I've had over 17 yrs looking back at my medical records, no one ever told me to see a urologist until this past january when my gyn tested my urine and found microscopic blood.
