About Krishna K. Jhaveri, M.D.
Dr. Jhaveri treats all urological conditions, with most of his time spent treating impotence, prostate cancer and kidney stones. He is trained in using the latest and least invasive techniques including laser surgery.
Dr. Jhaveri received his undergraduate and early medical education in India. He worked in hospitals in India and then pursued comprehensive training in medicine at French and Polyclinic Post-Graduate Medical School in New York. In 1974, he received his M.D. from passing the qualifications of the E.C.F.M.G.- Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates.
For post-graduate training, he performed a surgical internship at Flushing Hospital and Medical Center, followed by surgery and urology residencies. He completed his urology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia in 1979. Dr. Jhaveri then was awarded a fellowship for a year of specialty study in kidney transplant and dialysis unit at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Upon completion of these trainings, he opened his urology practice in 1980.
Dr. Jhaveri is currently a member of the American Urological Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, and is a fellow of the International College of Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Physicians Executives.
