As urologists, our physicians are highly trained to treat disorders of the male and female urinary tract (bladder, ureter, kidney, and urethra) and the male reproductive system. Urology is classified as a surgical subspecialty, but because a variety of clinical problems are encountered when treating urological conditions, knowledge of internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and other specialties is required.

Todd L. VandenBerg, M.D.
Dr. Todd VandenBerg received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. He was awarded his medical degree, did his internship, and completed his residencies in surgery and urology from Tulane University School of Medicine.
Dr. VandenBerg's subspecialties include the following:
- Endourology
- Laparoscopy
- Urogynecology
- Impotence/infertility
Dr. VandenBerg has co-authored several articles and has been published in the Journal of Urology. He has made presentations at American Urological Association meetings on the topics of
erectile dysfunction and Peyronie's disease.
